Indian Beech Tree

Common all over India, thriving from the central Himalayas down to southern India and Ceylon. Possesses six traditional varieties, including Karanjika (Kanta-karanja).

All parts are active. Possesses powerful vermicidal, insecticidal, and bactericidal properties, making it highly valuable in dermatological treatments.

Seeds contain 27% to 36% fatty oils with traces of essential oil. Rich in three crystalline substances: karanjin, pongamol, and glabrin. Karanjin is responsible for the curative skin action.

Oil is directly applied to soothe and treat scabies, chronic sores, herpes, and eczema (often mixed with zinc oxide). Leaf juice destroys maggots and septic pathogens in ulcers and fistulous sores. Bark is used internally to treat bleeding piles.

Yellow beeswax is obtained by pressing organic honeycombs after honey extraction, melting them in hot spring water, and purifying them multiple times before molding.

Contains 80% melissyl palmitate, 15% free cerotic acid, small quantities of aromatic esters, cerolin, and melissyl stearate.

Acts as a highly soothing emollient, demulcent, and natural preservative. It is widely used as a primary structural base in healing plasters and skin ointments, forming a mild, breathable protective sheath over irritated skin.

Sal Tree Resin (Shorea Robusta)

Sourced from the bark of Shorea Robusta trees natively growing in the sub-Himalayan region and the deep forest zones of West Bengal.

The bark is exceptionally rich in natural tannic principles and yields a highly astringent herbal extract when boiled in pure water.
